Position: Cloud Engineer
Location: San Francisco, CA
Duration: Long term contract
Cloud Java Applications Administrator/Engineer:
• Strong skills in installing, administering tomcat, apache http server , jboss and automate code deployments
• Cloud applications administration experience in one of the cloud providers – Amazon, Azure , IBM, Heroku or other cloud provider’s is a must
• Experience in writing SQL queries and working with Oracle and SQL databases
• Automate Routine Cloud Management tasks using Jenkins, Github, Tomcat, Shell Scripting, Python, Perl Scripting
• Manage existing continuous integration process and be the gatekeeper on all releases
• Solid Shell Schipting Skills are needed
• Support testing and implementations of database upgrades, server upgrades and application upgrades
• Manage and maintain monitoring and alerting capabilities • Co-ordinate and communicate down-times for bug fixing, security patches, application patches etc
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation with afterhours and weekend work support
It is a cloud engineer – AWS or Heroku with knowledge of scripting, JBOSS, Tomcat or Websphere
